After four seasons stuck behind Mark Andrews on the Ravens, Likely will finally get a chance to be the starting tight end for the New York Giants, as he reunites with John Harbaugh . What does this mean for Isaiah Likely’s dynasty outlook?

Likely had his worst season in 2025, having career lows in all major receiving categories. He played in 14 games, but he only had 36 targets, 27 receptions, 307 yards, and one touchdown. He finished as the TE45 in PPR leagues. In his previous three seasons, he finished between the TE16 and TE27 each year. There were only two weeks last season in which he finished as a top 20 tight end, and he only had one above a 70% snap percentage. He was not a part of the Ravens plan in 2025.
Likely Dynasty Price
According to KeepTradeCut, a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, Likely is the TE14, which is a reasonable ranking for him. The players ranked around him are Jake Ferguson, George Kittle, Brenton Strange, and AJ Barner. Likely has the highest ceiling among any of these players now with the Giants signing. He is worth a late-first to early-second round pick in rookie dynasty drafts.
Likely signed a three-year, $40 million contract, which is very similar to what Andrews got to stay with the Ravens. He is just 25 years old and is locked in to being the Giants’ starting tight end for the next three seasons.
The Giants have not had a great tight end in a while. Evan Engram had some decent seasons, and Darren Waller was disappointing before retiring. Likely is the best tight end they have had in a while.
Theo Johnson was a decent second-year tight end for them last season, catching 45 passes for 528 yards and five touchdowns. Daniel Bellinger was a free agent and signed with the Titans. Expect the Giants to use a lot of 12 personnel with both Likely and Johnson on the field at the same time.
After Malik Nabers, the Giants do not have many good wide receivers. Likely is now the second-best pass-catching option on the team.
The Giants are going to want to be a run-first team with Skattebo, Tracy, and Singletary with Harbaugh at the helm. In addition, Dart loves to run the ball himself, which will limit the passing game for all the receivers and tight ends. This move is definitely an upgrade for Likely, who was barely used last season, but there were better landing spots for him for fantasy purposes. He will probably be a low-end TE1 to high-end TE2 during his time with the Giants.
Fantasy managers should sell high on Likely. There has been a lot of hype over the years regarding Likely, and he has never lived up to expectations. Yes, he no longer has to compete with Andrews, but the Giants are not going to be a pass-first team. Likely is going to be a touchdown-dependent tight end, in which the Giants already have one of those in Johnson. I would rather sell high on Likely and get a first-round pick for him if possible than rely on Likely to produce at a high level.
