Isaiah Likely's Mark Andrews playoff take will put rest of the NFL on notice

The Baltimore Ravens designated Mark Andrews to return from injured reserve on Friday. The Ravens also gave Andrews the green light to take part in a few individual drills during practice on the day.

All eyes now turn to whether the Ravens will end up elevating Andrews to their active roster for the AFC Divisional Round. If Andrews gets the nod to play next week, then Isaiah Likely sees that the veteran tight end could very well add another dimension to Baltimore’s offense.

"Going from one tight end sets, to two tight end sets, and then still having Pat out there to go into three tight end sets, creates the havoc of, 'How do we stop that,'" Likely said on Friday.

The Ravens did not regularly roll with two tight end sets during the regular season. If Andrews does suit up to play in the AFC Divisional Round, then Baltimore could elect to feature more such sets to continue to feature Likely in its offense and also help Lamar Jackson further open up the short passing game.

Andrews and Likely combined for 70 receptions and 955 receiving yards in the regular season.
