'It's a special time for them' — Chiefs' Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift step out of the spotlight for intimate offseason

Since the end of the 2024 season, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce haven't been spotted in public much. 

But, based on the latest news, it's clear they are enjoying their time off. 

"They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it," a source told PEOPLE. "They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It's a special time for them."

The insider added that the couple are "very serious and in sync."

"They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight," they continued. 

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end still does his weekly New Heights podcast with Jason Kelce, but other than that, he is keeping a low profile. It was clear that the Chiefs' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl took a toll on Kelce. And he had a hard decision to make this offseason. 

But ultimately, he decided that he was not ready to hang up his cleats and opted to return for his 13th season. (13... it just made too much sense)

Swift has been beyond supportive of Kelce's career, attending numerous of his games since their relationship first began. She always arrives at Arrowhead Stadium in her most stylish outfit that has a least one tribute to the team or Kelce. 

As for the tight end, he is the same with Swift. Whether it was during his time off over the summer or during the bye weeks of the NFL season, Kelce would travel to meet up with Swift at the stops on her Eras Tour and attend the shows with her. 

They are both very busy, but always made time for each other even when their schedules were completely booked. And now that they have some time off, they deserve to just enjoy the peace and quiet with one another.
