The Arizona Cardinals led from start to finish on Monday as they secured a 27-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
With QB Kyler Murray still sidelined with a foot injury, backup Jacoby Brissett got his third straight start and put on a well-rounded performance. He completed 21 of his 31 pass attempts and threw for two touchdowns to go along with a one-yard rushing touchdown.
Dallas’ offense gave up five sacks and their bottom-five defense had difficulties slowing down the Cardinals. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw for one touchdown and one interception while completing 24 of his 39 pass attempts.
The Cowboys have now fallen to 3-5-1 while the Cardinals improved to 3-5.
