The Philadelphia Eagles are winners of three straight after their 10-7 victory over the Green Bay Packers (5-3-1) on “Monday Night Football” and are once again the top dogs in the NFC (7-2).
Flying high after the Eagles' victory was linebacker Jaelan Phillips, who made his debut after he was acquired from the Miami Dolphins ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline to bolster the Eagles' pass rush. After the game, Phillips spoke about how emotional it was for him before kickoff, as this was his first time playing in Lambeau Field.
"I just felt super grateful," Phillips said, via Grant Gordon of NFL.com of his emotions before the game. “This is the first time in a while that I've gotten a little emotional before a game. Obviously, this stage, and coming here. It's my first time at Lambeau [Field], walking out through that tunnel. I mean it doesn't get better than that. Definitely grateful. Felt amazing energy from the guys. It was just an air of confidence and everybody played together. We had a great game, honestly, it was super gritty. Grateful to be here for sure."
Phillips made his presence felt right away for the Eagles as he put together a stellar debut. He had eight pressures, five defensive stops, a 19.4% pressure rate and a fumble recovery. Phillips also added two hits on quarterback Jordan Love and six total tackles.

Despite a lackluster day on offense (294 yards), the Eagles' defense did their job, limiting the Packers to 280 yards and a rushing touchdown, while sacking Love three times and causing him to fumble the football twice.
The Eagles are now, for the most part, healthy, with linebacker Nolan Smith returning Monday night to add another layer to the Eagles' pass rush. Smith had two quarterback hits, two total tackles and a sack.
Center Cam Jurgens (knee) and recently acquired cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) remain the only starters out. Alexander stayed back in Philadelphia to better get himself acclimated to the Eagles' system after being acquired at the deadline.
The defense will be tested as the Eagles face a tough three-game stretch over the next few weeks, playing the Detroit Lions (6-3) — sixth-best offense (372.4 yards) — the Dallas Cowboys (3-5-1) — fourth-best offense (378.4 yards) — and the Chicago Bears (6-3) — third-best offense (379.8 yards).
