Jags' Cam Little breaks NFL record with 68-yard field goal

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little broke the NFL record for longest field goal with a 68-yard kick to close out the first half of Sunday's road game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The 22-year-old Little, who hit a 70-yard field goal in the preseason, took the record from former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, who hit a game-winning 66-yarder on Sept. 26, 2021, against the Detroit Lions.

The kick blew past Little's previous career-long field goal of 59 yards last season.

A second-year kicker out of Arkansas selected in the sixth round of the 2024 draft, Little had been in a bit of a sophomore slump. He was 27-of-29 on field goals as a rookie and started this season 6-of-6, but he has missed at least one kick in four of Jacksonville's last five games. Over that span, he was 4-of-8 while also missing the first extra point of his professional or collegiate career.

The record field goal prevented the Jaguars from being shut out in the first half, with the Raiders taking a 6-3 lead into the break.
