Travis Etienne Jr. and the Jacksonville Jaguars improved to 6-4 after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 35-6. They're now looking to stay hot with a Week 12 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Etienne put together a solid performance against the Chargers. He finished the game with 19 carries for 73 yards and two touchdowns. It was his first multi-touchdown game of the season.

The Jaguars currently sit in second place in the AFC South behind the 8-2 Indianapolis Colts. Not sitting too far behind, they're looking to win the division for the first time since 2022. Etienne has been a big part of the team's success, starting all 10 games.

However, on Wednesday, the Jaguars announced their first injury report for Week 12 and listed Etienne as a limited participant because of a shoulder injury.

It's a concerning update considering he's established himself as the team's top running back. Through 10 games, he leads Jacksonville in carries (154), yards (729) and is tied for first in touchdowns (five). Etienne also has 21 receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown.

Before the season began, head coach Liam Coen praised Etienne's versatility, saying, "He's lined up in multiple different spots and handled the workload that we've given him that is different than just lining up either behind the quarterback or next to him. So I've appreciated how much he's been able to do."

The Cardinals have struggled to stop the run this season, ranking 16th in rushing yards per game allowed (112.2). Having Etienne on the field to attack that weakness is crucial.

With two practices remaining before Jacksonville must announce his game status on Friday, whether or not Etienne's shoulder injury improves will be an indicator of his ability to suit up.

To make matters worse, though, running back Bhayshul Tuten, who has 60 carries for 238 yards and three touchdowns of his own this year, was also limited with an ankle injury.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, airing on CBS.
