Jaguars' cornerback to be 'featured' on the cover of Madden 26, will the Madden curse affect the Jags in 2025?

The Madden 26 cover has been released, and Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones will be one of the featured players on the cover this year. Well, sort of at least.

Ok, so the actual cover is Saquon Barkley doing his infamous backwards hurdle that he did in 2024, but Jones's head is clearly there on the cover of Madden. That's a win for the third-round pick from last year's draft.

The big question for all Jaguars fans now is, how does the Madden curse affect the 2025 season? It seems like the Eagles will get the brunt of it, but 25% of Jones' head is on the cover. Does that mean that 25% of the Jaguars' season is going to be affected by the Madden curse? If so, will that be in the playoffs if the Jags make it there?

Or does the curse only affect the player who's on the cover? Is Jones going to struggle in his sophomore season? We'll have to wait and see.
