Jaguars' official attendance numbers destroy false narrative

There is a very weird narrative surrounding the Jacksonville Jaguars right now that is just completely false. Well, there are really two narratives.

The first one is that the Jaguars don't have any fans, or the fans don't show up to games. That is completely false, and if you have been to a home game this year, you know that.

The second narrative is that the Jaguars do not have a home-field advantage, and, well, we will get into that one a bit later.

On CBS, Danny Kanell, a former Florida State quarterback, said that the team was looking to move to London because of their fan base, which is completely wrong.

But his point is that they don't really have a home-field advantage. While I think they do, the Jaguars are proving guys like that, right? Jacksonville is 3-3 so far this year at home, which is not great. The Jaguars didn't even score a touchdown in two of those losses at home. So, is that really an advantage? Not really. It's not the fan's fault, though, as the offense is just that bad right now.

However, the attendance narrative is completely false, and Draft Kings recently proved it.

According to Draft Kings, the Jaguars are fourth in attendance this year with 102% per game. The Jaguars have standing-room-only sections, which allow the capacity to go over 100%.

Now, tell me, how is the smallest and youngest market in the NFL fourth in attendance? Well, it's because the Jaguars have some of the best fans in football, if not the best. And they have a winning team to continue to root for.

Now that the official numbers are out there, I don't want to see a lazy take like that again.
