The Jaguars’ season appears to be going from bad to worse.

Jacksonville announced Saturday that they are placing star linebacker Foye Oluokun on injured reserve, ruling him out for at least the next four weeks. Oluokun is dealing with plantar fasciitis and has already been ruled out of this week’s game.

Oluokun had started the season's first three games, collecting 22 total tackles and a sack. He has been the anchor of Jacksonville’s defense since joining the team in 2022, leading the NFL in total tackles in the last three seasons dating back to his final year with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Jaguars seem unable to catch a break this year. They are off to a 0-3 start, and rumors about a potential coaching change have already started to fly.

There have been problems on both sides of the ball, but they could at least count on Oluokun to stabilize things defensively. Now, that will not even be true for the next month.
