The San Francisco 49ers selected Beathard in the third round of the 2017 draft. He has spent the last four seasons in San Francisco and has started 12 games with the franchise, completing 58.6% of his passes for 3,469 yards and 18 touchdowns against 13 interceptions in 19 games total.
He appeared in six games last season, completing 63.5% of his passes for 787 yards and six touchdowns against no picks.
