While Jacksonville Jaguars first-round rookie Travis Hunter continues to grow and improve each week, adapting to play both sides of the ball at the NFL level, he’s had a remarkable 2025 off the field as well.

After marrying his longtime girlfriend, Leanna, the couple welcomed their first child last month—just before Hunter made his NFL debut with the Jaguars.

Hunter has also been making headlines in the business world. On Wednesday, he partnered with EA Sports to create a first-of-its-kind streaming and content studio. Designed with professional-grade sound, lighting, and controls, the studio was installed in his Jacksonville home so he can produce content while being close to his family.

Gaming and making content is just what I have been doing my whole life when I am not playing football,” said Travis Hunter. “I’m just being me — and the camera being on lets fans come have fun with me. This setup is going to take my content to the next level, so big thanks to EA SPORTS for being great partners and taking care of me.”

Travis Hunter is doing something unprecedented every time he steps on the field, consistently contributing on both sides of the ball. Despite the learning curve of adjusting to the NFL, Week 3 against the Houston Texans highlighted his versatility, as he played roughly 50% of the team’s defensive snaps and 50% on offense.

Hunter recorded six total tackles against Houston, bringing his season total to nine, and has hauled in 10 receptions for 76 yards through three games. As he continues to develop, he’ll look to expand his role in head coach Liam Coen’s offense and become a more prominent target on the offensive side of the ball.

Coen spoke about Hunter's growth last week and have they've been "intentional" in bringing him along playing both offense and defense.

“You look at, I think we were very intentional last week, specifically about some of the volume and mileage that we were looking at deploying, and it showed up on Sunday,” Coen said last week. “There’s definitely things to clean up about that in terms of detailing the preparation and making sure that all the formations, all the alarms [are known], but we can help them too and maybe simplify some of that stuff as well for him.

“But very happy with where things were last week in terms of our organization with him, his preparation, and we kind of continue to do that this week as we continue to just evaluate how many snaps and what it’s going look like each week.”
