Jaire Alexander Signing Gives Ravens Best Cornerback Trio in NFL

The Baltimore Ravens already have a few star corners on their roster, who had some solid seasons in 2024.

But the team just signed star defensive back Jaire Alexander after the Green Bay Packers cut him, which could put their secondary over the top.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Moe Moton, he ranks who he believes are the 10 best cornerback duos in the league heading into the 2025 season. And at No. 2, he has the Ravens' duo of Marlon Humphrey and Nate Wiggins.

"Marlon Humphrey has been an elite cornerback for several seasons. He's still in his prime and capable of locking down pass-catchers on the boundary and in the slot... Assuming Wiggins opens the 2025 season in a starting role, he could be on the same Pro Bowl/All-Pro career trajectory as Humphrey," Moton wrote.

If Humphrey and Wiggins are at No. 2 in this duo ranking, then a trio ranking would surely have the reigning AFC North champions at the top spot.

Humphrey had a career-high six interceptions this past season, so he remains one of the best corners in the league. Wiggins was one of the brightest young defensive stars in the league his rookie season, and is only getting better. And Alexander will be hoping he can stay healthy and get back to his normal All-Pro level of play.

If they can all stay on the field, these three combined could make the Ravens' secondary one of the scariest in the league to face.
