The San Francisco 49ers fell to 6-10 on the year with a "Monday Night Football" loss in Santa Clara against the Detroit Lions.
The 49ers held a 21-13 lead going into halftime, but the Lions outscored them 27-13 to get the 40-34 victory.
San Francisco saw Brock Purdy throw two interceptions and kicker Jake Moody miss a pair of field goals and an extra point in an uneven performance.
Moody's struggles are nothing new this year, as he entered the game 23-of-30 on field goals and then missed both attempts on Monday night.
After the loss, Moody spoke to reporters and dished out a major personal admission, per KNBR.
"Definitely, probably one of the lowest times in my career dating back to when I first started football," Moody said. "Confidence, you know, gotta keep it high. You got no other choice as a kicker. You gotta keep staying confident in yourself, otherwise, you got nothing."
After missing two field goals (plus an extra point) against the Lions, Jake Moody is now 9-16 on FG's 40 yds + this season.

Moody's missed field goals were 51 and 58-yard attempts, so they were long tries. At the end of the first half, 49ers tight end George Kittle was spotted talking to Moody in what looked to be an attempt to uplift his spirits.
The missed extra point was Moody's first of the year, and fans quickly took to social media to call for him to be gone from the team in 2025.
Moody had an excellent career at Michigan, finishing with a 69-for-84 mark on field goals with a perfect 148-for-148 clip on extra points.
Moody was then selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft and hit a Super Bowl record 55-yard field goal in the Super Bowl last year.
Now, he has hit rock bottom, and the young kicker is hoping to turn things around soon.
