Jalen Hurts confirmed his stance on A.J. Brown in the only way he can

From an outsider's perspective, many would believe that the Philadelphia Eagles were 0-4 and the season was falling apart with all the drama they are going through. Good thing they are the polar opposite of that.

The Eagles are coming off a dramatic 31-25 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, when they almost blew a 24-3 lead. One of the talking points was the struggles of the offense. Specifically, A.J. Brown had yet another down game.

Brown had nine targets in the contest. Typically, that would mean a solid game. Not for Brown and the Eagles. He finished with two catches for seven yards.

Everyone knows what came next. The cryptic post from Brown that got everyone's attention. It caused Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo to go in and calm everyone down on the trade rumors and speculation that Brown wasn't happy.

To Brown's credit, he did take accountability for the post and expressed that it was not directed towards anyone in the organization. He let his frustrations get in the way.

What about him and his quarterback, Jalen Hurts? Are they good?

Hurts had to face the same music as everyone else

With all the media attention around the post, it was the franchise quarterback's turn to face the media and answer the question. In typical Hurts fashion, he wasn't about to give too much away on Brown's post.

“I’m not gonna analyze or speculate on it. He’s always willing to contribute, and that remains. Onward.”

The media didn't let him off the hook after that, as he was asked about his relationship with the star receiver.

“It’s good,” Hurts said via The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane.

Once again, the media requested more information. They asked the follow-up question to expand. Hurts stuck to his guns.

“We share a great passion for this game and we’re focused on this week.”

Hurts had his own struggles in the Buccaneers game, as he didn't have a single completion in his eight attempts during the win. While he hasn't thrown an interception, Hurts has thrown for over 200 yards once in a game this season. He's going through the same struggles as the offense, and Brown is.

That hasn't seem to change anything about Hurts' demeanor on the field or in the press. The only focus for him is to win games, and that's something the Eagles have done well this season.
