Jalen Hurts finally addresses A.J. Brown situation

A.J. Brown's feud with the Philadelphia Eagles was one of the main storylines from the 2025 season.

After drifting apart for more than a year, the former Tennessee Titans star finally got his wish of being traded to the New England Patriots.

While Brown cited his discomfort with not being as involved in the passing game as he'd like to, he also opened up on not being close to Jalen Hurts anymore.

That's why, in an interview with GQ, the Eagles star was under a lot of pressure to finally talk about what happened there. While he didn't provide much of an answer, he at least acknowledged the obvious.

Jalen Hurts admits he grew apart from A.J. Brown

"I think the reality of the scrutiny that we get is what we gave them. So, there's a practical approach that I see comes with the territory of it," Hurts said, referring to both of them opening up about being such great friends at first. "It came with the territory of being in that light in the beginning...It was no surprise it was talked about."

Of course, for two guys who were so close and so vocal about their relationship, watching them drift apart was all the more notorious.

When pressured to respond whether they had grown apart, Hurts finally couldn't avoid giving a straight answer:

"I mean, clearly, you know?" Hurts responded.

Whatever happened between the two is only for them to know and discuss, especially if they don't feel comfortable sharing details.

It would have been interesting to see what they could have accomplished if they stayed together, as they had the opportunity to be one of the deadliest QB-WR tandems in the game and had already helped the Eagles win a Super Bowl.

But now that they're no longer teammates, it'll clearly be better for everyone to just move on and let bygones be bygones.
