Jalen Hurts is the talk of the sports world on Monday following his first NFL championship.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback led his team to a 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, avenging his loss to Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII two seasons ago.
Hurts performed like a star from start to finish. He scored the opening touchdown of the game on Philadelphia's famous "Brotherly Shove" play and ended the night as the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl LIX.
In total, Hurts recorded 293 yards of offense (221 passing, 72 rushing) and three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) in the dominant victory.
After giving an interview with Erin Andrews and celebrating with his future wife, Bry Burrows, on the field, Hurts needed a moment to himself when he returned to the Eagles' locker room to soak in the victory.
Hurts escaped the chaotic celebrations and snuck into the hallway, holding the Lombardi Trophy while smoking a cigar. NFL reporter Albert Breer captured the private moment in a video that had over 20,000 likes and 800,000 views by Monday morning.
Was pretty cool seeing @JalenHurts walk away with the Lombardi Trophy, trying to take in a pretty crazy moment. Guy who was benched in college, dismissed as a pro prospect, and kept his head down.

"What a moment!" wrote a user under the video on X.
"This is great footage," another chimed in.
Comparisons flew between the Super Bowl MVP and similar iconic moments by NBA champions Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
"I need the pic with the cigar and the trophy to drop!!!" wrote one fan.
