The Philadelphia Eagles relied heavily on their ground game in 2024, but it's no secret that quarterback Jalen Hurts has some of the best receiving weapons in the game.
In fact, Pro Football Focus believes that they top the charts.
PFF ranked all 32 receiving units, putting the Eagles at No. 1 overall.
Here's what PFF's Trevor Sikkema had to say about Hurts' target options:
"The Eagles earned a team 79.1 PFF receiving grade last season and boast the No. 1 (A.J. Brown) and No. 17 (DeVonta Smith) receivers in PFF's top 32 wide receiver rankings, as well as the No. 2 running back (Saquon Barkley) and No. 8 tight end (Dallas Goedert). Throw in Jahan Dotson as an ideal No. 3 receiver, and you’ve got a group that has a strong case for being the best in the league."
Brown put together another standout campaign in the 2024 season, solidifying his status as one of the premier wide receivers in the NFL. Despite missing some action, he still managed to lead the group with 1,447 receiving yards on 106 receptions and eight touchdowns, once again proving to be Hurts’ go-to target in critical moments.
Meanwhile, Smith finished the year with 84 receptions for 1,117 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his ability to step up in critical moments when Brown wasn't available.
Goedert did the same with his 63 receptions for 711 yards and five touchdowns.
And of course, Barkley showed off his dual-threat capabilities with 1,185 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground, along with 412 receiving yards and two scores through the air during the regular season.
PFF also mentioned Dotson, who didn't live up to the hype until Philly's playoff run. He finished the regular season with just 19 receptions for 216 yards and zero touchdowns. However, he showed flashes of his potential in Week 18 with a 94-yard performance, a touchdown in the Wild Card round, and a 42-yard outing in the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX win.
With these four dynamic weapons, defenses are left guessing what Hurts and the Eagles will come at them with next.
