The Philadelphia Eagles were crowned Super Bowl LIX champions after blowing out the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22, ending the team's hopes of a three-peat.

While the Eagles got a strong performance from both sides of the ball, it was quarterback Jalen Hurts who walked away with the game's MVP award. He completed 17-of-22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while rushing for an additional 72 yards and a score.

Following the win, Hurts did just about every interview imaginable, and also went to Disney World. However, when it came to attending the team's White House visit in April, Hurts wasn't willing to share if he was attending. Although he didn't confirm whether he was going or not, it was pretty evident that he wouldn't be. When it came to the visit, he was one of the handful of players who decided to pass on a trip to the Nation's capital.

On Tuesday, Hurts was asked about why he didn't attend the visit, and kept his answer brief.

"I wasn't available," Hurts said. "I don't think that's pertinent. Everyone who went and was available they seemed to enjoy themselves."

It's unclear why he wasn't available, as he was reported to have a "scheduling conflict," Hurts wasn't the only notable Eagles player to miss the visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Other notable players, such as A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Brandon Graham, and Nolan Smith also chose not to attend.

In terms of the team's title defense, Hurts and the Eagles will open the upcoming season on Sept. 4 against the Dallas Cowboys.
