Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff provides the organization stability at one of the most important positions out on the football field.

After a stellar 2022 season, the veteran signal-caller has earned the opportunity to lead the offense again in 2023.

What has supporters even more excited will be Goff's opportunity to develop more chemistry with speedy wideout Jameson Williams all throughout the offseason.

In an age when the top quarterbacks in the NFL are averaging $35 million plus per season, Goff's contract is widely considered among the best bargains for a player of his caliber.

"Jared Goff is a steal for the Lions at an average of $26.5 million over the next two years. He could be looking for a raise after his big season, but the fact that he's two years from free agency hurts his leverage," writes ESPN reporter Dan Graziano. "Detroit could try to work something out with him like Las Vegas did last offseason with Carr -- guaranteeing his 2023 salary and injury-guaranteeing some of his 2024 salary -- to keep him happy and reward him."

In comparison, Aaron Rodgers, who is rumored to be leaving the Packers, has an average annual salary north of $50 million.
