Jason Kelce, a Cleveland Heights native, took issue with the Cleveland Browns' decision on a new stadium. Jason and his brother, Travis, are against this idea, which the former Philadelphia Eagles lineman deemed "stupid" by owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam.
In a clip of their "New Heights" show shared on Monday, the brothers didn't hold back when discussing this call. First, Jason used a sarcastic tone to voice his disagreement with the decision.
"Something really stupid out in Brook Park that they're trying to get everybody excited about," Kelce said. "The stadium [will] no longer be in downtown Cleveland. Boooooo."
After his brother asked if he liked the rendering, which he didn't, Kelce went on and said there were many things he didn't appreciate about this stadium.
"I don't like anything about this," Jason added. "I don't like that it's not downtown, I don't like that it's indoor. I don't like anything about this... I like when the elements play a role in the game."

Kelce added that he might be out of touch with the people in Cleveland since he's been out of there for several years. He mentioned that the Eagles had a great snow game against the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round of the 2024 playoffs, which is something appealing for the retired center.
The options were either to build a stadium from scratch 15 miles away from Cleveland or renovate their current home, built in 1999. The traffic issues and parking shortage have become an issue that prompted the owners to go with the $2.4 billion stadium slated for completion in 2029.
