The Super Bowl didn't go according to plan for one of the Kelce brothers, as Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs were blown out on the field by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jason Kelce was torn between supporting his younger brother and his former team, but he recently revealed that he had a little bit more on his mind earlier this month when the two teams played one another.
Kelce said that he attended a party on behalf of the "New Heights" podcast and a country music concert, but that he could only focus on one thing heading into the game on Sunday.
"Outside of that I just lost all my money at the casino," he explained on a new episode of "New Heights" with his brother Travis.
"Casino's right next door and because I won so much money last year at Las Vegas (at the Super Bowl), I thought, 'Hey, we'll just keep this rolling, this will be great.' Yup, didn't work this time."
Kelce felt like going to the casino was like "handing them money," and took listeners into his frustration while explaining his experience at the craps table.
"I'm sitting there playing craps," Kelce explained. "This (expletive) dude is sitting down playing the 'don't pass' line, killing it. Just killing it. ... I want to kill this guy so bad."
The losses at the table for Kelce turned a bad weekend for the brothers into an even worse one after Travis and the Chiefs' lackluster performance in the big game.
The Eagles scored 34 unanswered points to open the Super Bowl this year, putting the Chiefs at a disadvantage early in the game. Kansas City would make the score look respectable in the second half, but the Eagles proved that they were the better team in New Orleans, almost from the opening snap.
The Eagles ended the Chiefs' bid for a third straight Super Bowl title, and they turned a bad weekend into an even worse one for Jason Kelce, who was conflicted between supporting his old team and his younger brother.
We'll see if Travis returns for another season next year, and if the Chiefs can make it back to the Super Bowl for a chance at redemption.
The good news for Jason? Next year's game is in Santa Clara, California, putting a little more distance between the former offensive lineman and the local casinos.
