Jason Kelce makes a hilarious cameo on Jeopardy as former Eagles center raps the lyrics to ‘Push it’ by Salt-N-Pepa
Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

Jason Kelce is enjoying his retirement to the fullest. The former center for the Philadelphia Eagles made the decision to walk away from the game after 13 seasons back in March. Since then, he has been seen having the time of his life by attempting to try his hand at the most bizarre things. Kelce has gone from chugging beers with fans outside stadiums to partying like a college frat boy after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win to becoming a frequent face on network TV.

The star center signed a deal with ESPN to be featured on Monday Night Football as a broadcaster. Looks like he is warming up to the idea of appearing on television on a weekly basis by taking up small gigs. Jason Kelce made an unexpected appearance on the popular game show Jeopardy after the show decided to dedicate an entire round to him.

The category was called, The World Revolves Around Jason Kelce, and in the process, while he was giving a clue to the participants with respect to the Philadelphia Eagles‘ iconic tush-push move, he could not resist referring Push it by Salt-N-Pepa.

I was a key part of our quarterback sneak known as the tush push so I always smile knowingly when I hear their song, 'Ah, Push it, Push it good, Ah Push it real good. This is how Jason Kelce gave the clue

The challenge here was for the contestants to guess who was behind this song and immediately after the former NFL center gave the clue, one of the participants, Yogesh wasted no time in delivering the right answer.

Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles’ tush-push

The Philadelphia Eagles’ tush-push is one of the most dreaded moves for defenses in the NFL. The play has delivered a 93.5% success rate for the team in the 2022 season and a 90% success rate in 2023. Philly managed to convert on 37 of its attempted 40 tush pushes in the regular season this year. It involves the center basically pushing the quarterback’s rear end all the way into the endzone.

The tush-push is a play attempted by teams when they are a yard or two short of making it to the end zone. It prevents the team from fumbling the ball in an attempt to rush or risking an interception while attempting a pass.

The Eagles have used this play the most in comparison to other teams in the league and rightfully so as it is almost always successful.
