Jason Kelce Makes Exciting Personal Announcement on Wednesday

On Tuesday, Jason Kelce was at Citizens Bank Park to take in some MLB action as the Philadelphia Phillies hosted the Chicago Cubs. Unfortunately for the Phillies, they ended up losing at home as Chicago secured an 8-4 win.

Kelce, though, made quite an impact on the game and the fans as he joined NBC Sports Philadelphia's broadcast for the game. The former Philadelphia Eagles star is currently under contract with ESPN as an NFL analyst, so his guest appearance at a direct competitor's broadcast quickly drew the attention of supporters.

What cannot be denied, though, is that the people of Philly absolutely adore the former Eagles Pro Bowler. Kelce maintained a strong bond with both the fans and the franchise even after his retirement last year.

A testament to this fact is how Kelce is now hosting the fifth year of his annual Team 62 at The Ocean Drive charity event. The 37-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the details of the upcoming event on June 25 and 26.

As Kelce's post indicated, this will be Year 5 of Team 62 at The Ocean Drive, which is held at the popular Sea Isle, New Jersey bar, The Ocean Drive.

Day 1 of the two-day fiesta will feature an Eagles Takeover event, which, similar to past years, could potentially draw appearances from current and past Eagles players. The main event of Day 2 is the Beer Bowl at the Sea Isle Yacht Club, which will be backed by Kelce's highly popular "New Heights" podcast with his younger brother, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to Kelce, tickets for the event will be available at noon on Tuesday. He also tagged his wife, Kylie Kelce, in the post, and she could grace the event with her presence.

The annual charity event benefits the Eagles Autism Foundation, which aims to take action for autism through "research, advocacy, empathy and unity."

Last year, Team 62 at The Ocean Drive raised a whopping $865,000, topping the previous year's donation of $500,000.
