After a storied NFL career, Jason Kelce has continued to make waves in the sport in a different arena: broadcasting. Kelce retired from the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2024 following 13 seasons as one of the most respected centers in league history. During his playing career, he was a Super Bowl champion, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, and widely admired for his leadership and consistency on the field.
In retirement, Kelce quickly built a presence off the field. Alongside his brother Travis, he co‑hosts the popular podcast “New Heights.” That success helped pave the way for his move into television.
Kelce joined “ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown” as an analyst and also launched his own late‑night show, “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” expanding his influence beyond traditional studio coverage.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Kelce has earned another Sports Emmy nomination, this time in the Outstanding Personality/Emerging On‑Air Talent category for his work in the broadcast booth.
This is a major achievement in his young media career and highlights how effectively he’s transitioned from elite NFL center to respected television voice. The nomination places him alongside other notable figures in the same category, including Nick Saban, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Richard Sherman, and Jay Wright, recognizing his contributions across ESPN platforms this past season.

The Sports Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled for May 26, where winners across all categories will be revealed.
