Jason Kelce is finding new ways to stay busy during retirement.
On the latest New Heights podcast released Wednesday, Jason discussed getting a DXA scan to measure his bone density. The former center explained that he's undertaking a contest with former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Beau Allen.
"Beau Allen reached out and said, 'Do you wanna do a competition on who can lose the most body fat percentage but still gain muscle?'" Jason recalled.
Jason, who's lost 20 pounds to 277.6, said the test showed he has 21.2 percent body fat. Travis called his older brother a "hefty load."
"There is a lot of fat in there," Jason said. "It's kind of embarrassing seeing your body broken down like this. Although, I'm not gonna lie, it's a good calf-to-hamstring ratio."
Jason explained Allen's "really specific" grading metrics to score their competition. Each of them receives two points for every percentage of body fat lost and one point for every pound of lean mass gained.
The brothers believe Jason has an advantage, as Allen's scan revealed 18 percent body fat at 280 pounds.
Whoever loses must wear a Speedo at a New Jersey charity event to raise money for autism research this summer. While Jason desperately wants to avoid that punishment, he joked about Allen having an ulterior motive.
"It feels like Beau just wants to wear a Speedo at the Ocean Drive," Jason said. "He wants to be like, 'Oh, I have to wear a Speedo. Twist my arm.'"
Jason warned his brother, who decided to return to the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2025 season, when Travis asked about the point of the competition.
"Dude, this is what you do. This is why you're still playing football," Jason told Travis. "Because when you retire, you have to do stupid competitions like this to keep your sanity."
