There is no doubt that Jason Kelce is one of the greatest players to ever pick up a football. A testament to this fact is how the Philadelphia Eagles icon is widely considered a future Hall of Famer when his time comes.
Kelce, however, is anything but a whiz when it comes to college basketball.
On Monday night, the No. 1 seed Florida overturned a 14-point deficit against No. 1 Houston to secure the national championship, 65-63. This was the Gators' first title in 18 years, and it came behind an incredible March Madness run.
Kelce submitted his bracket for the tournament via ESPN's tournament challenge, and unfortunately for him, his entry was one of the worst among the celebrity leaderboard.
For starters, Kelce predicted that Michigan State would be crowned the national champs. The Spartans, however, were eliminated in the Elite Eight by the Auburn Tigers, 70-64.
In his Final Four bracket, Kelce pitted Michigan State against St. John's, who were ousted in the second round. Kelce also had Houston (he got that correctly all the way to the national championship) facing off against Wisconsin, who were also ousted in the second round.
All in all, the Super Bowl-winning center registered a measly 900 points for his bracket prediction. Only 10 other celebrities had a worse score than Kelce in ESPN's tournament challenge. Kelce fell in the 51st percentile with a final ranking of 12,447,463 among 24,388,569 brackets submitted.
For added context, college basketball analyst Jay Bilas reigned supreme in ESPN's celebrity bracket with 1,710 points. He ranked 74,039th and in the 99.7th percentile.
