Jason McCourty thanks Patriots for allowing him to live out childhood dream

Jason McCourty is joining the Miami Dolphins, but he took the opportunity Saturday to thank the New England Patriots organization in an Instagram post for helping him live out his "childhood dream."

The veteran cornerback played in New England, alongside his twin brother Devin, from 2018-20, helping the Patriots win Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams.

In Miami, McCourty will reunite with former Patriots defensive coordinator Brian Flores, who is now the head coach of the Dolphins. He'll also reunite with several other former Patriots, including Adam Butler and Elandon Roberts.

In his last three seasons with the Patriots, McCourty has recorded two interceptions, 19 pass breakups, one forced fumble, 152 tackles and one tackle for a loss in 44 games.
