Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy used Twitter on Thursday to defend Russell Wilson and then spoke about the highly-criticized quarterback later in the afternoon.
"I’m just tired of reading things about my boy, making it seem like he’s not a good teammate," Jeudy said of Wilson, as shared by Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. "Other unnecessary stuff that’s not true and I just wanted to get it out in the air that he is a good teammate and he is a hard-working teammate. I just feel like I needed to get that out there because there’s a lot of false narratives out there."
Jeudy's Twitter rant was a response to Hall of Famer and current FS1 analyst Shannon Sharpe blasting Wilson earlier in the week for allegedly rubbing some teammates the wrong way, in part because the signal-caller reportedly has his own office and "parking spaces" at the team's facility:

On Sept. 1, it was reported the Broncos signed Wilson to a five-year extension worth $245 million with $165 million guaranteed. Denver fired first-year head coach Nathaniel Hackett following this past Sunday's 51-14 loss to the Rams that dropped the Broncos to 4-11 on what's become a disappointing season filled with stories about Wilson potentially losing some within the locker room.
Also on Thursday, Denver wide receiver KJ Hamler offered support for Wilson via Twitter:
3 goes above and beyond to do whatever it takes to win for the team. Y’all not about to bash him and act like he still ain’t that same Russ who won a Super Bowl and was a 9 time pro bowler. I stand behind my QB love u 3 https://t.co/731VuHfiNK

Per ESPN stats, Wilson is 29th among qualified passers with a 35.1 total QBR and 31st with a 60.1% completion percentage this season. In 13 games, he's thrown 12 touchdown passes and nine interceptions.
