The Dallas Cowboys have widely been regarded as "America's Team," known as one of the most popular sports organizations in the United States.
Jerry Jones has served as the owner of the Cowboys since 1989.
Given his involvement with the team during its second Super Bowl era and modern era, when the Cowboys are fighting for playoff success, Jones' opinion weighs heavily on the Dallas community.
On Friday, Jones shared his thoughts on the greatest Dallas Cowboys player of all time.
Jones named former Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach the greatest player in franchise history given the success he found during his time in the NFL.
"Jerry Jones was asked if he had a pick for the greatest player in Cowboys history," Dallas Morning News reporter Joseph Hoyt posted on X. "He said Roger Staubach because of his impact on the franchise, both on and off the field."
