Aaron Glenn's first offseason as the New York Jets' head coach has been a positive one, and it's been one that has been done with no headlines, no distractions, just football.

With roster cuts now finalized, it was Glenn's first time going through what is arguably the toughest part of the job, alongside general manager Darren Mougey, who is also going through this for the first time.

While some might not like how the NFL works at this time of year, it is a part of the business, and for Glenn, he was pleased with how the franchise managed roster cuts.

"This has been a really good process as far as trying to get the roster to 53, and listen, we know it's still fluid," Glenn said. "Then making sure that we look at how the practice squad's going to go. It's been a really good process, obviously this is my first time going through this process, Moug's [Dareen Mougey] first time going through this process as the GM.

"It's been outstanding, and I give a lot of credit to the scouts. I'll give a lot of credit to Moug [Mougey], and how we handle this process. And it's like again, it's still fluid."

With Glenn's roster now set for the most part, it will be one that he hopes will be able to set the foundation for future success.

Justin Fields, Garrett Wilson, Quinnen Williams, and Sauce Gardner will be the main players Glenn and his coaching staff will look to in order to lead this team to where they want to go.

Glenn was going to go through a lot of firsts in 2025, with training camp and now roster cuts done and dusted.

The last thing left is to coach his first NFL game as a head coach, which he hopes, with the roster he and Mougey have selected, will also yield his first win.
