The New York Jets have Sam Darnold returning on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, and they'll also likely have their rookie wide receiver in the lineup, too.
New York announced Saturday that Denzel Mims has been activated from injured reserve, which is an indication he'll make his NFL debut against the Bills. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury since training camp.
We've activated WR Denzel Mims and OL Cam Clark from IR and elevated K/P Sergio Castillo and LB Bryce Hager from the practice squad.

Mims was selected by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Baylor. In four seasons with the Bears, Mims caught 186 passes for 2,925 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Mims should end up being one of Darnold's top target on Sunday with Jamison Crowder listed as doubtful.
