New York Jets passing game coach Greg Knapp is in the hospital and in critical condition due to injuries he sustained in a bicycle accident near his home in Danville, Calif., over the weekend, Mike Klis of 9NEWS reported.
Coach Knapp was riding his bicycle when struck by car. He was Broncos QB coach from 2013-16. Peyton set single-season passing records (55 TDs/5,477 yds) that still stand with Knapp in 2013. Knapp helped bring Trevor Siemian from 7th round to 18 TD/3401 yd passer in 2016. #9sports

ESPN's Rich Cimini reported Tuesday that the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the police.
Knapp's resume boasts a coaching career that spans 23 years shared with seven different franchises. He was hired in January to become part of Robert Saleh's new coaching staff in New York and was prepping to leave for training camp prior to the accident.
Saleh and the Knapp family released statements via the Jets' Twitter account.
