Expectations for the 2025 New York Jets are low. They are 30th in ESPN’s power rankings and have a projected win total of 5.5 at some outlets.
Yet, they are involved in one of the top five most in-demand matchups of the 2025 NFL season.
Yes, you read that right.
According to VividSeats, the Week 18 contest between the Jets and Buffalo Bills is the fifth-most in-demand game of the 2025 NFL season, featuring an average ticket price of $1,169.
After Wednesday’s NFL schedule release, here are the most in-demand games, per @VividSeats.

It might seem shocking at first to see the Jets on this list, but it makes perfect sense when you understand the context.
The Bills are moving into a new stadium in 2026. This will be their final season at Highmark Stadium, their home since 1973. Thus, Buffalo’s Week 18 home game against the Jets will be the final regular season game in the building’s 53-season history.
Previously known as Rich Stadium (1973-97), Ralph Wilson Stadium (1998-2015), and New Era Field (2016-19), the Orchard Park venue has played host to many critical moments in Jets history. The Jets have a 20-29 record at the stadium.
New York opened its memorable 2002 AFC East-winning season with a thrilling 37-31 overtime win in Orchard Park. Chad Morton scored two kickoff return touchdowns for the Jets, including the game-winner in overtime.
On a more depressing note, the 2015 Jets blew their Week 17 win-and-in opportunity with a dismal 22-17 loss against the Rex Ryan-led Bills, featuring current Jets backup Tyrod Taylor at quarterback.
The Jets are currently on a five-game losing streak in Erie County. Their last road win against the Bills came in the 2019 season finale, over a Buffalo team that was resting its starters for the playoffs. Their last “real” win in Buffalo was in 2018, when Sam Darnold executed a fourth-quarter comeback against a rookie Josh Allen.
It is hilarious to think that the Jets have an opportunity to score the final (regular season) touchdown in the place Buffalo called home for over a half-century. I’m putting my early money on Mason Taylor to score the final touchdown at the Ralph. It would be fitting, considering his father racked up a whopping 13 sacks at the stadium as a visitor with the Miami Dolphins.
