Mike Williams is on board as the Jets add another piece to the brand new offensive huddle. Joe Douglas and company were slated to meet with Williams today and got a deal done. It’s a 1-year contract for the free agent according to NFL insider Josina Anderson.
The #Jets didn't let WR Mike Williams leave the building. He's signing a one-year deal to join up with Garrett Wilson. @JosinaAnderson first.

In dire need of a legitimate number two receiver to play opposite Garrett Wilson, Williams gives the Jets a big bodied pass catcher to do just that. Signing for just one season means Williams is betting on himself to have a big year and get another contract next season.
One would have to imagine that catching passes from Aaron Rodgers played a big role in his decision to head East.
