Aaron Rodgers was introduced as a member of the New York Jets on Wednesday and responded to Zach Wilson's memorable January quote saying he'd make "life hell" for any veteran quarterback competition this offseason.

The 23-year-old signal-caller's words came as rumors were starting to ramp up regarding Rodgers' potential trade to New York.
On Tuesday, Jets general manager Joe Douglas said that he felt the Rodgers trade would be a "great thing" for Wilson and that the former BYU Cougar still has a ceiling that is "unlimited."
New York selected Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and his first two pro seasons have been a struggle, to say the least.
In 22 career games, Wilson has recorded a 55.2% completion percentage for 4,022 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and 18 interceptions with a 70.9 quarterback rating.
Even during a down 2022 season, Rodgers' numbers were serviceable, especially considering the lack of offensive weapons he had during his final season with the Green Bay Packers.
In 17 games, Rodgers posted a 64.6% completion percentage with 3,695 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions for a 91.1 quarterback rating.
