The NFL officially announced the 2025 preseason schedule on Thursday, May 29. Jets fans now know where and when to catch their team in action before the regular season kicks off. The Jets will play three games, two on the road and one at home, starting with a nationally televised matchup in Green Bay. Be sure to check out the full Jets Schedule.

2025 Jets Schedule (Preseason)

Friday, August 9
at Green Bay Packers, 8:00 p.m. ET

Saturday, August 16
at New York Giants, 7:00 p.m. ET

Friday, August 22
vs Philadelphia Eagles, 7:30 p.m. ET

The preseason opener at Lambeau Field will be a solid test for the Jets on the road. The following week, they stay in-state for their annual preseason matchup with the Giants. Then it is back to MetLife to close out the exhibition slate against the Eagles.

These matchups offer the first real look at how Aaron Glenn’s roster is coming together. They may give us early signs of how key players like Justin Fields, Sauce Gardner, and Garrett Wilson are performing ahead of Week 1.

The league’s featured national preseason games include:

Thursday, July 31
Hall of Fame Game, Chargers vs Lions, NBC, 8:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, August 17
Buffalo Bills at Chicago Bears, FOX, 8:00 p.m. ET

Monday, August 18
Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Commanders, ESPN, 8:00 p.m. ET

Thursday, August 21
New England Patriots at New York Giants, Prime Video, 8:00 p.m. ET

Friday, August 22
Minnesota Vikings at Tennessee Titans, CBS, 8:00 p.m. ET

It may be preseason, but these games matter for a new head coach. Aaron Glenn will use this stretch to test out lineups, get a feel for his roster, and set the tone before Week 1.
