Jets Signing OT Blake Freeland Off Bengals Practice Squad

The corresponding move is OT Max Mitchell going to injured reserve, per Rosenblatt. 

Freeland, 25, was a four-year starter at BYU and earned third-team All-American honors as a senior. The Colts selected him with the No. 106 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.  

He was entering the final year of a four-year, $4,655,880 rookie contract that included an $815,880 signing bonus when the Colts released him coming out of training camp. He caught on with the Bengals’ practice squad.

For his career, Freeland has appeared in 25 games with nine starts, all with the Colts.
