As the Jets head up to Foxboro today in hopes of upsetting the New England Patriots, here are a few things to keep in mind.

– The Pats have some serious concerns at offensive tackle.  Will Campbell is playing on a balky knee and Morgan Moses hasn’t been particularly effective this season.  With this being the case, you’ll want to keep an eye on the trio of David Bailey, Kingsley Enagbare and Will McDonald.

– Patriots wide receiver Kyle Williams had a career day last week, catching three passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.  With AJ Brown expected to play and draw plenty of attention, keep an eye on Williams who will likely see plenty of man coverage.

– Omar Cooper debut take 2: Yes, you can only have one NFL debut, but Cooper’s fizzled out so quickly after a high ankle sprain that it feels like it never happened.  Cooper lit up Jets social media in his first contest with a 30-yard catch and run, but that was the last time he stepped on the field.  In dire need of a quality option opposite Garrett Wilson, Cooper could help open things up a bit on offense for the Jets today.

– The return of AJ Brown will also impact Efton Chism, who had put together impressive back-to-back games.  We’d anticipated plenty of targets for Chism if Brown remained on the shelf.  Unlikely to be the case now.

– Gang Green will get their first look at Alijah Vera-Tucker in a Patriots uniform.  As we all expected, AVT leads the Patriots with 340 offensive snaps played.  One of the marquee matchups of the day should be Vera-Tucker against Jets NT T’Vondre Sweat.

– Braelon Allen has done a good job filling in for Breece Hall.  Over the past two games, Allen has averaged 4.6 YPC, rushing the ball 38 times for 175 yards and a touchdown.  If the Jets hope to cool off a hot Patriots offense, they’ll need similar results from him today.

– Not to beat a dead horse here, but can we please see Kenyon Sadiq become a part of the offense again?  After going over 100 yards and a touchdown against the Lions, he’s managed just 2 catches for 3 yards in the two weeks since.

– The Patriots outscored the Jets 69-24 in their two meetings last year.  Pulling off an upset victory would be a huge step for Aaron Glenn and company.  If the pass rush can get things going against the Patriots tackles and we see the young pass catchers get involved, it’s not out of the question.
