With Week 15 underway and playoff season fast approaching, predictions about which teams can truly compete for the Super Bowl are starting to pour in.

CBS Sports analyst and play-by-play broadcaster Jim Nantz made a bold prediction ahead of the highly anticipated showdown between the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions, who have a combined 22-4 record this season.

While the Kansas City Chiefs remain the consensus favorite, having made the Super Bowl in recent years, Nantz took a different approach. In a surprising turn, he predicted that the Chiefs won’t make it back to the Super Bowl.

Instead, he boldly forecasted that the Bills and Lions, two teams with legitimate championship aspirations, will meet again on Feb. 9 in New Orleans for the biggest game of the season.

This would be a historic matchup, as it would mark the first time either the Bills or Lions would win a Super Bowl in their respective franchises' history.

“This game, I think, is going to be played again on February 9th. I do," Nantz said. "For today, there's a lot on the line for both sides. But I think they're playing for the right to be the next crowned America's Team."

Jim Nantz and his partner Tony Romo are set to call the action for the highly anticipated Bills-Lions game, and they’re ready to showcase two of the most well-rounded teams in the NFL.

Both teams are stacked with talent from top to bottom, and their respective star quarterbacks, Josh Allen and Jared Goff, are surrounded by playmakers who give them an edge over the competition.

This matchup in Week 15 promises to be a thrilling contest, with both teams having the potential to dominate on both sides of the ball. But it’s also a game that could be a preview of something even bigger—perhaps a rematch in the Super Bowl just a couple of months from now.
