It's been several weeks since ESPN shared that viral clip of FOX Sports NFL broadcaster and Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady in the coach's booth during a Monday Night Football game. Though it's less talked about now, ESPN play-by-play man Joe Buck is still feeling the aftereffects.

Appearing on The Pivot podcast, Buck was asked about Brady pulling double duty between the FOX Sports production meetings and the Raiders' front office. Buck said that while he doesn't personally have an issue with it, the Raiders seemed to take issue with ESPN showing Brady being in their coach's booth and the negative publicity that ensued.

“That seemed a little too public to me,” Buck admitted. “The headset with the Raiders. But I think the production meeting stuff is much ado about nothing.”

“The last person I’m telling what to do is Tom Brady. But yeah, I thought the visibility – and I know they weren’t happy that that got out, but he’s in a booth with a headset on. I mean, we’re all at least smart enough to know there are cameras everywhere. And they’re gonna find you. Cameras found him and then it became a big thing and then just like everything else in the world, it goes away five seconds later.”

Deserved or no?

It's pretty easy to understand why the Raiders were so upset with ESPN. The football team is already struggling amid yet another frustrating season and the media focus being a controversy over where their minority owner spends his time probably isn't helping things.

That being said, it has been some time since people have really made any sort of noise about it. And in the end, there really isn't anything that anyone wants to do about it.

The NFL's owners fully understood that Brady would be pulling double-duty when they approved his purchase of the Raiders share. Aside from enforcing a few rules against him, there's really nothing left to do.

Have we just been making a mountain out of a molehill?
