Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes are two of the best quarterbacks in the game and have already had some great battles. Their most recent was a nail-biter in the AFC Championship Game last January, where Mahomes and the Chiefs defeated Burrow and the Bengals 23-20.
With that in mind, Burrow was quite complimentary of Mahomes when he was asked who's the best QB in the world right now. Without hesitation, Burrow said Mahomes.
#Bengals QB Joe Burrow on who the best QB in the world is right now: "I don't think there's any argument right now. It's Patrick [Mahomes]. Until someone has a better year than he's had. He's the one to knock off."pic.twitter.com/8vWm5N58Dd

Mahomes won MVP last season after throwing for a league-leading 5,250 yards and 41 touchdowns with just 12 interceptions. The Chiefs QB also won Super Bowl MVP in a 38-35 win over the Eagles. As the reigning champ, Mahomes will have a target on his back, and guys like Burrow eager to beat the team that ended their season.
Burrow is currently 3-1 against Mahomes, including a 27-24 AFC Championship win in January 2022. Still, the only result that matters is the last one, a loss that prevented the Bengals from reaching the Super Bowl.
Burrow and Mahomes will meet up on New Year's Eve in Kansas City in a Week 17 showing that could have serious AFC playoff-seeding implications. Per OddsChecker, the Chiefs have the best odds to win the Super Bowl at +650, while the Bengals are tied with the 49ers at No. 4 with +1000 odds.
