Former Bengals running back Joe Mixon has agreed to a three-year contract extension with the Texans according to Jordan Schultz.
The Bengals traded Mixon to the Texans on Wednesday. The former Pro Bowler was hoping to reach an extension with his former team from the moment the trade was agreed upon.
The new three-year deal is worth $27 million and includes $13 million guaranteed. Mixon gets a nice pay day and should spend the next few years in Houston.
