Key Points:
Former Colorado quarterback and current Fox Sports personality is regarded as one of the best talents in the college football media space.
His journey to stardom in the broadcast world is an unorthodox one, as Klatt actually played minor league baseball after being an 11th-round pick in the 2000 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres. After his baseball career didn't take off, Klatt opted to walk on as a quarterback at Colorado, where he threw for over 7,700 yards and nearly 50 touchdowns across his four seasons in Boulder.
Klatt eventually worked his way into the broadcasting world, signing on with Fox's FS1 in 2013. Despite starting as a part-time analyst, he and Gus Johnson now headline Fox's "Big Noon Kickoff," where they call the game of the week.
Klatt also hosts "The Joel Klatt Show," a podcast that has quickly emerged as one of the most popular shows in the sport.
On Thursday, "The Joel Klatt Show," announced a major milestone that the show recently hit on X, indicating just how popular the former Colorado quarterback has become.
On Thursday, Klatt's show announced that he has officially reached the 250,000 subscriber mark.
