John Harbaugh gets real on the one major challenge of facing Justin Herbert, Chargers

The Baltimore Ravens are set to face yet another top-10-ranked offense this season. Baltimore will square off with the Los Angeles Chargers and their No. 8 ranked offense in Week 12.

The Chargers have called on wideout Keenan Allen quite a bit to lead the way this year; he leads the team in both yards from scrimmage (1,017) and total touchdowns (seven). However, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh well recognizes that Los Angeles’ offense is more than just Allen.

"Every one of their guys is dangerous in their own right, and they spread the ball around," Harbaugh said during a press conference ahead of Week 12. "'You say, 'OK, they throw it to No. 13 a lot.' Well, they do, but then you see the ball going to everybody else."

In his first year as Chargers offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore has strived to get others involved in the offense, from Joshua Kelley to Donald Parham. Overall, eight different Chargers players have tallied at least 20 touches this season.

Harbaugh is expecting the Chargers to be as unpredictable as could be on offense in Week 12.

"They scheme different guys different ways in different games," Harbaugh said. "Different guys are very talented. They built very talented offensive skillset guys. All the tight ends are receiving tight ends. Every single one of them is a good receiving tight end. They have five of them, four of them play all the time.

"They're really good on offense for a reason. They do a great job with scheme, and it's going to be a challenge for us."

The Chargers head into their upcoming home matchup against the Ravens boasting a 25.9 points per game average this year.
