Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has set high expectations for tight end Isaiah Likely, stating his belief in the player’s potential to become an All-Pro. Entering his fourth NFL season, Likely is poised to elevate his game and further solidify the Ravens’ legacy of exceptional tight end play.

Likely emerged as a key contributor for the Ravens in 2024, stepping up when Mark Andrews faced injuries. He recorded 42 receptions for 477 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his versatility and reliability. Harbaugh’s confidence in Likely stems from the player’s ability to excel in various roles, including lining up as both a traditional tight end and a slot receiver.

Offensive coordinator Todd Monken has emphasized Likely’s importance in the Ravens’ offensive strategy. His capacity to create mismatches and thrive in broken play situations makes him a valuable asset for quarterback Lamar Jackson. With an average of 6.1 yards after the catch per reception last season, Likely has proven himself as a dynamic playmaker.

Harbaugh’s expectation that Likely can achieve All-Pro recognition is not just aspirational but grounded in the player’s demonstrated growth. His performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 last season, where he recorded 111 yards on nine catches, exemplified his potential to dominate high-pressure situations. That type of performance has raised the bar for what Likely can achieve in 2025.

Taking on a larger role will require Likely to compete for targets in a crowded offense that includes Andrews and other talented receivers. However, his mindset and chemistry with Jackson position him as a critical component of the Ravens’ success.

If Likely continues to build on his strengths, he has the opportunity to meet Harbaugh’s lofty expectations. With his talent and determination, Likely could become one of the league’s premier tight ends and a pivotal figure in Baltimore’s pursuit of excellence.
