On Monday, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens and his wife, Simone Biles, ascended the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s steps for the annual Met Gala.
The theme of the event, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," celebrated the cultural heritage and sartorial creativity of Black style and tailoring.
Biles dazzled in a cobalt-blue bustled minidress with a matching cape, while Owens opted for an all-white suit accented in blue and a fur cape.
Icons like Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams co-chaired the event, while figures such as Angel Reese, Sha'Carri Richardson, and Spike Lee served on the host committee.
The following day, the Bears seized on that resonance, sharing a striking photo of the couple on X.

The Bears boasted a 5-12 record in 2024, last in the NFC North.
Owens, in his first year with Chicago, compiled 49 combined tackles, two passes defensed, one interception and a forced fumble over 17 games.
Biles, on the other hand, needs no introduction.
She won four medals in Paris (three gold, one silver), a ninth U.S. national all‑around title, and an advocacy platform that earned her a TIME100 Impact Award for mental‑health leadership.
Now, Chicago will lean on new head coach Ben Johnson to transform a young roster into a contender.
Offseason trades for linemen Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney aim to protect rising QB Caleb Williams, while early draft picks Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III provide more weapons to help build a high-powered offense.
Looking ahead to the 2025 season, the Bears are tied for the second-hardest strength of schedule (SOS) in the NFL, with an opponent win percentage of 57.1%.
