Jordan Love has the Green Bay Packers cruising early in the 2025 NFL regular season. Through two games, the former Utah State Aggies star has amassed 480 passing yards and four touchdowns and zero interceptions while recording a 66.0 percent pass completion rate. He’s not putting up gaudy numbers, but he is clearly getting the job done.

In Week 2’s 27-18 win over the Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field during a Thursday Night Football showdown, Love capitalized on the stout protection provided by Green Bay’s offensive line and teamed up mostly with tight end Tucker Kraft to dissect and light up Washington’s defense that allowed a total of 404 yards.

“It feels good,” Love said after the victory against Jayden Daniels and the Commanders, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). “We couldn’t have started the season off on a better note. It’s a thing we’ve just got to keep building on, but it feels great right now.”

Jordan Love adds fuel to Packers’ momentum with post-TNF reaction

On Sunday, Love hopped on social media and shared a gallery of photos from last Thursday.

“Handled business

Indeed, Love and company are taking care of business on the field, with both offense and defense contributing at a high level.

With two wins against teams that made the NFL playoffs in 2024, Green Bay has sent a big message across the league about how dangerous of a unit it is. There are some concerns for the Packers, though. For one, last year’s leading Green Bay receiver, Jayden Reed, is now sidelined after suffering a shoulder injury in the first quarter of the Washington game. Christian Watson is also still unavailable.

Up next for Green Bay is a game against the Cleveland Browns, which will be the Packers’ first trip outside of Wisconsin in the 2025 season.
