Green Bay Packers (5-2) quarterback Jordan Love went into the blue medical tent to be evaluated for an ankle injury during the first quarter of Sunday’s Week 8 road contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5).

Love, who hobbled over to the sideline after Green Bay’s second offensive drive, stayed briefly in the blue medical tent before returning to the game on the Packers’ next drive.

Love suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee in the Week 1 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) which caused him to miss two games. He returned in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings (5-2) and has led the Packers to three consecutive victories.

Despite missing two contests, Love has tossed 15 touchdowns in just five games, tied with the Baltimore Ravens’ (5-2) Lamar Jackson for second in the league. Love entered Sunday’s game having thrown for 1,351 yards on 61.5% passing, to go along with eight interceptions.

The 25-year-old has thrown two or more touchdown passes in nine consecutive regular season games, dating back to last year, according to Packers.com. If Love throws two more against Jacksonville, he will become just the fourth quarterback in NFL history with two-plus touchdown passes in 10 or more consecutive games before turning 26 years old.
