Jordan Love injury update: Packers QB goes down on field, exits game vs. Jaguars

Love previously went into the blue medical tent after suffering an injury in the first quarter. He did not miss a snap and was back on the field for the Packers’ next offensive possession. Love was clearly not 100% upon returning, with head coach Matt LaFleur telling FOX that he “can’t really move,” per Zach Kruse of The Packers Wire.

Love suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee in the Week 1 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) which caused him to miss two games. He returned in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings (5-2) and has led the Packers to three consecutive victories.

Love completed 14-of-22 passes for 196 yards and an interception before leaving the game. Despite missing two contests, Love entered Sunday’s game with 15 passing touchdowns in just five games, tied with the Baltimore Ravens’ (5-2) Lamar Jackson for second in the league.

The 25-year-old had thrown two or more touchdown passes in nine consecutive regular season games, dating back to last year, according to Packers.com. That streak appears to be in serious jeopardy.
